Zara Larsson has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Guitar by Swedish collecting society STIM, recognizing her outstanding international success and significant contribution to Swedish music.
Zara Larsson received the award during Way Out West in Gothenburg. Over the past decade, she has grown into one of Sweden’s most successful international pop artists, building a global career through a string of major releases while continuing to develop her role as a songwriter and creative force behind her own music.
STIM: ”Zara Larsson’s music combines strong pop songwriting with a distinctive personal voice and artistic vision, inspiring a new generation of songwriters and artists to develop their own sound.”
The Platinum Guitar is presented annually by STIM to a songwriter who has achieved exceptional success and serves as an inspiration to fellow music creators. Previous recipients include Robyn, Max Martin, Avicii, Tove Lo, Laleh, Veronica Maggio and Yung Lean.
CTM Outlander is proud to represent the publishing rights of several songs from Zara Larsson’s catalogue, including her global hit “Lush Life.” Released in 2015, the song became one of Larsson’s biggest international successes and remains an important part of her worldwide repertoire more than a decade later.
