Michael Tyler
Michael Tyler is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville. A self-taught musician from Missouri, Tyler was discovered by award-winning producer Michael Knox at the age of 13. Before long, Tyler began making a name for himself garnering cuts with top artists including Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Jon Pardi, Tyler Farr, Clay Walker, and Dierks Bentley. The song “Somewhere on a Beach” written by Tyler and performed by Bentley reahed number one on country charts and earned him SESAC’s Song of the Year Award in 2016. He also penned Jason Aldean’s multi-week No. 1 single “Girl Like You,” as well as six songs on Aldean’s newest record 9, including the hit singles “Got What I Got” and “Blame It On You.”
Tyler has since landed a recording contract and began pursuing a solo career. In 2017 he released his debut album 317. Enthusiasm is still building for MT’s solo career, including Rolling Stone Country ranking him as one of ‘10 New Artists You Need To Know.’
