Toby Gad
Toby Gad is a German songwriter, producer, and filmmaker. Gad took up the piano at a young age, formed a rock band at 13, and earned his first multi-platinum certification at 18, writing multiple songs on Milli Vanilli’s debut album All Or Nothing. The massive success of the album launched Toby into the top echelons of the European music business. He eventually moved to New York City and founded his own studio, Strawberrybee. Gad then relocated to LA in 2011, where he continues to collaborate with A-list artists from around the world.
A household name in the music industry, Gad is responsible for producing and co-writing several #1 smashes- including John Legend’s iconic ballad ‘All of Me,’ Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning ‘If I Were A Boy,’ Fergie’s monster hit ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and The Veronica’s signature song ‘Untouched’. The creator has won several prestigious awards, including three Grammys and twice winning ASCAP’s Song of the Year! In recent years, Toby has entered the world of filmmaking, directing and producing documentaries about environmental causes.
